The resource library

Sessio · Updated October 7, 2026

The library holds two kinds of resources, shown in the same grid or list. A link is a web address, such as an article, a video, or a tool you like to share. A file is a document you upload. Either way, the point is to have it ready during a session instead of searching your downloads folder.

Links

Paste a URL and Sessio tries to fetch a title, description, site name, and icon. If that fetch fails, fill the fields yourself and save. You can replace the fetched title, edit the description, and add tags before you save. The resource shows up in the library right away. You can search it, filter it, edit it, open it, or share it.

A clear title and a short description matter more than the fetched text. That is what you will scan during a session, often while someone is still talking.

Files

You can upload PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plain text, and RTF. Each file can be up to 25 MB. The library holds 2 GB of files in total. Saved web links do not count toward that 2 GB, so a long list of articles will not eat the space you want for documents. Under the resource count, Library shows how much of the 2 GB is in use.

Open a file from its card or row. It opens in a new browser tab and stays available for about a minute. You can also open it from Session resources during a live session. A link resource still opens its web address.

Edit changes the title, description, and tags. It does not swap the document. To use a different file, remove this one and upload the new one. Removing a file frees that space in the 2 GB immediately. You cannot restore it from the Library screen, so it is worth a second look before you remove something a client still needs. A share link you already emailed stops working once the file is gone. Leave the window open while a file says Uploading.

Sharing

Share from the library, not from the live session screen. Session resources is for opening something while you are in the session. Emailing it is a library action, so you can send it when the hour is over and you have a moment to check the message.

A link resource puts the web address in the email. The client opens that site directly. Sessio does not control that page.

A file resource puts a Sessio link in the email, such as sessiocoach.com/f/, and says when the link expires. The client does not need a Sessio account. Anyone with the link can open the file until it expires, so send it only to that client. Sessio does not keep a list of who you emailed. Your sent mail, or a note, is the record if you want one.

Tags

Tags you have already used, plus any you add, show in the sidebar. Filter one tag at a time. Counts show how many items sit in each tag, and the filter works with search. Keep the spelling consistent. "Mindset" and "mindset" will split into two buckets, and then the thing you want is in the one you did not click. If you save without a tag, the resource can land as uncategorized.
